Trad band Kayna came about during a session in Mulligan’s Bar in Amsterdam, as the now-members set out to have “a bit of craic” and ended up discovering the driving style and huge sound the three-piece is now known for. With a contemporary approach to playing trad music and influences ranging from reggae to funk blues, this is Irish music with a twist.
